CMJ is an international peer-reviewed Diamond Open Access journal published six times per year. The CMJ uses the Diamond Open Access model. This means that there are NO author processing fees and no fees to access the published papers. The free access is available on our web page as well as on PubMed Central.
CMJ is indexed in Biosis, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, PubMed/Medline, PubMedCentral (PMC), ISI Alerting Service, Science Citation Index-Expanded (SciSearch), Scopus.

CMJ owners are three Croatian Medical Schools (University Rijeka, Split and Zagreb). Founded in 1953 as Acta Facultatis Medicae Zagrabiensis.
Official journal of World Assocaition of Croatian Physicians (WACP), Academy of Medical Sciences of Croatia (AMSC), Forum for Public Health in South Eastern Europe (EPH-SEE), International Society for Applied Biological Sciences (ISABS), and Croatian Center for Global Health.
Publication of the journal is supported by the Croatian Ministry of Science, Education, and Sports.
CMJ permits and encourages authors to post items submitted to the journal on personal websites or intitutional repositories both prior to and after publication, while providing bibliographic details the credits, the publication in CMJ.
CMJ is a member of and subscribes to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
